As part of a process improvement program to re-engineer vitals collection workflow, Greenwood Leflore, a 248 bed acute-care hospital in Greenwood, Mississippi, used Soarian Device Connect to move data directly from vital signs monitors to the patient record -- dramatically reducing the need for paper, transcription, and typing. As a result Greenwood Leflore reduced the time to collect and document vitals collection by an average of 86.2 %. In addition, manual workflow steps were reduced by 46%.
