• 4-way tabletop movements ensure that once a patient is lying on the table, the region under examination can be centered without the need for patient to move, thus providing a greater level of comfort.
• Similarly, due to the gantry movement and flexible tube rotation, for most extremity radiography, patients in wheelchairs and trolleys can be examined directly without transfer onto the system. This makes the procedure more comfortable and bearable for the patient.
• In gastroenterology examinations, a patient may experience upright and horizontal tilting table movements. This movement is programmed to have a gentle cradling tilt so that the patient is not alarmed by sudden jerks in movements.
