MAGNETOM Symphony offers you the complete range of future oriented advanced imaging techniques - for both clinical routine and research. The compact magnet, the patient-friendly design, our revolutionary coil concept and, above all, the outstanding Siemens gradient technology make the innovation in magnetic resonance.
The revolutionary Integrated Panoramic Array (IPA) coil technology optimizes the entire patient exam process. The need to position or change coils is virtually eliminated.
IPA allows you to simultaneously scan with up to four coils. Moreover, in close to 95% of all studies you do not have to change coils at all.
With Integrated Panoramic Positioning(IPP) you can select coils remotely as well as move the patient table. And to perform multiple exams, you just pre-program a sequence of exam steps.
Increased patient throughput up to 20%
per day compared to non-IPA systems
Ultra-short 1.6 m (5ft. 3in.) magnet bore length with 60 cm (2 ft.) inner diameter and wide, flared 120 cm (4 ft.) bore opening improves patient acceptance.
Floating table and attractive, compact design create a pleasant environment.
Powerful basic gradient system: Ultra gradients with max. 20 mT/m and a slew rate of up to 50 T/m/s for outstanding clinical routine imaging.
Advanced gradient system: Sprint gradients with max. 30 mT/m and a slew rate of up to 75 T/m/s for optimum performance/price ratio.
Best in class Quantum gradients with max. 30 mT/m and a slew rate of up to 125 T/m/s enable highest demands performance for clinical research applications.
Array configuration upgradeable to 16 simultaneously usable CP elements.
syngo - the comprehensive software solution for all medical imaging tasks and applications - optimizes clinical workflow.
syngo combines the advantages of standardized software with customer-oriented flexible solutions.
The task card concept supports parallel workflow and scan programs enable easy "single click exams".
