Measuring a mere 23 mm (0.9”) in thickness, which is hardly thicker than cassettes, and weighing only 4.8 kg (10.6 lbs), AXIOM Multix M’s full format detector features an imaging area of 35 cm x 43 cm (14” x 17”), the same as the largest conventional film format. AXIOM Multix M also allows for both landscape and portrait format positioning, thereby easily handling overview exposures of the chest and spine.

DICOM support
AXIOM Multix M is designed to support DICOM services, allowing for seamless integration into the existing information systems of your hospital’s IT landscape (e.g. HIS, RIS, PACS). Combined with Siemens Entry PACS, for example, AXIOM Multix M opens up a world of archiving opportunities, including a variety of data management and viewing options. The DICOM standard interfaces provide a common image and data platform. As a result, communication of examination results within the internal networking systems and beyond is greatly facilitated.
