The AXIOM Aristos VX digital flat panel detector system is used in clinical radiology departments with a high volume of chest and skeletal exposures.
Increasing demands and rising costs require economical solutions that yield the maximum in quality health care.
The process of digital imaging begins before the actual exposure. Patient data is entered into the image station manually or via an RIS* (Radiology Information System). The examination is then selected (organ program), the patient is positioned, and the exposure is taken.
After completion of the exposure, the digital image information is read out, processed, and within a very short period of time, displayed on the control monitor of the PC-based image station.
A diagnostic image is stored in the image station's intermediate memory and is available in DICOM format and ready to be sent to a diagnostic review station* or a laser camera* via the network interface.
