AXIOM Aristos FX easily connects to existing HIS/RIS systems, PACS networks and DICOM printers via well-implemented DICOM functionality, making additional interface components unnecessary. AXIOM Aristos FX enables you to access relevant patient data and to distribute images as required within Radiology to other departments or even outside of the institution, streamlining clinical workflow even beyond departmental boundaries.

Images acquired by AXIOM Aristos FX are on a par with radiology films, if not better - thanks to the expansive 3k2 matrix and generous 14 bit image depth; nine million pixels at 0.143 mm enable the most intricate image details to be visualized.

Solid State FD detector technology
Our innovative FD technology converts x-rays directly into a digital image matrix. This revolutionary technique has clear advantages over traditional solutions based on film-screen cassettes, including instantaneous image display, post-processing and image enhancement possibilities, and the potential to reduce patient doses.

Using the clinical experience of an international group of technologists and Siemens medical engineering knowledge, AXIOM Aristos FX is designed for easy, fast and efficient exam workflow. Seamless integration of RIS, generator, image processing, printing and distribution functions into a single syngo operating console delivers the ultimate in ease of use.

Automated functions free up your time for the patient
AXIOM Aristos FX takes care of the work for you; the system reads the exam request from the RIS, and the programs are automatically selected. The program then sets the exposure and image processing parameters, controls the x-ray tube and detector positioning, sets the appropriate collimator settings and selects Cu dose-reduction filters as required. Once the images are acquired, AXIOM Aristos FX automatically handles printer functions and image distribution.

Perfectly positioned - with SmartMove
With the position selected via the organ program, SmartMove enables the tube and detector to be positioned automatically with just the touch of a button. Fine positioning is then assisted with synchronized tracking control and motor drives. This provides fast, accurate system positioning with a minimum of physical effort.

CARE

Siemens FD continues the CARE philosophy
Siemens is well known for its low-dose imaging and innovative CARE (Combined Applications to Reduce Exposure) functionality. With its high efficiency (DQE) solid-state detector, AXIOM Aristos FX provides high levels of image quality with dramatically reduced dose. Careful integration of dose reduction features into automated organ programs ensures doses are optimized for each and every view.

Intelligent organ programs - and CAREFILTER
Intelligent organ programs ensure the right system settings are automatically selected. The kV, AEC chamber and dose per image are always correctly selected, resulting in the lowest possible dose for each exam. The built-in CAREFILTER function even automatically introduces Cu dose-reduction filters as required.

Siemens grids - high transparency gives low doses
Compared to conventional anti-scatter grids, Siemens grid technology is simply in a different league: With up to 20 percent more transparent than other grids it provides another means of dose reduction. Of course, under the right circumstances, working with no grid results in even lower doses. With AXIOM Aristos FX, grids can be easily removed and stored within the detector housing itself, making grid handling as easy as possible.
