The 3D image visualizing the left atrial morphology was generated by 4 subsequent ECG-triggered synchronized rotational C-arm angiography runs during peripheral venous injection (right arm) of diluted contrast agent with 15 sec scan delay. Cardiac gating (~60 to 70% of R-R interval) was applied during 3D reconstruction in order to achieve optimal time resolution. Visualization: Volume rendered technique.
