Pulmonary vein antrum ablation has been performed under Fluoro and intracardiac Echo guidance. syngo DynaCT Cardiac images were used for visualization of the three-dimensional left atrial morphology. Electro-anatomical mapping was performed using the Ensite NavX system. Image 1 shows the super-imposition of catheter positions (from Ensite NavX) with syngo DynaCT Cardiac images. Image 2 shows the fusion of electro-anatomical map with the syngo DynaCT Cardiac image.
Integration of syngo DynaCT Cardiac and Ensite NavX: The syngo DynaCT Cardiac images were reconstructed at the syngo X Workplace and segmented using the syngo X Workplace InSpace EP 1-click segmentation tool. The segmentation result was exported to the Ensite NavX system where the image fusion took place. Visualization of both the circular mapping catheter (lasso) and the ablation catheter was possible for performing navigation within syngo DynaCT Cardiac images.
