Pulmonary vein antrum ablation has been performed under Fluoroscopy imaging and guiddance by the electro-anatomical mapping system Ensite NavX. syngo DynaCT Cardiac images were used for visualization of the three-dimensional left atrial morphology. Image 1 shows side-by-side visualization of electro-anatomical map and syngo DynaCT Cardiac segmentation. Image 2 shows super-imposition of electro-anatomical map and syngo DynaCT Cardiac segmentation. The circular mapping catheter (lasso) is visualized while being placed near the left inferior pulmonary vein.
Integration of syngo DynaCT Cardiac and Ensite NavX:
The syngo DynaCT Cardiac images were reconstructed at the syngo X Workplace and segmented
using the syngo X Workplace InSpace EP 1-click segmentation tool. The segmentation
result was exported to the Ensite NavX system where the image fusion took place.
Visualization of the circular mapping catheter (lasso) was possible for performing
navigation within DynaCT Cardiac images.
