Patient History

At our institution the following imaging strategy is followed: If the onset of neurology is < 6 hours:

On presentation Computer Tomography (CT) and possibly CT-Angiography
1. Triplanar localizer
Transverse T2 Fast Spin Echo
Turbo Dark Fluid
Transverse Full Tensor DWI, Low b images (*)
Transverse Full Tensor DWI, Calculation of Full Tensor DWI maps (*)
Calculation of Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) maps
Calculation of Exponential images (*)
Calculation of Fractional Anisotropy (FA) maps (*)
Transverse EPI-T2-SE Magnetic susceptibility Perfusion scanning, Calculation of rCBF maps
Transverse EPI-T2-SE Magnetic suscep. Perfusion scanning, Calculation of rCBV maps
Transverse EPI-T2-SE Magnetic susceptibility Perfusion scanning,Calculation of Mean Transit Time map
