65 year old male, 80 kg (176 lbs) – Suspected recurrence

Image Findings

Patient undergone alcoholization of an hepatic lesion in the 5^th segment. Increased αFP without assured signs of recurrence from CT and MR examinations (cirrhotic liver). PET/CT using C¹¹-Acetate showed positive for two lesions on the 5^th and 6^th segment.

16 slice CT: 80 mAs CareDOSE, 120 kV, 5 mm collimation, 5 mm slice thickness
PET, Pico-3D: 505 MBq (13.65 mCi) C¹¹-Acetate, 5 min. uptake, AW-OSEM (4i8s), 2 min/bed, 7 beds
