Post-operative exam of 64-year-old male after bilateral hip-TEP implantation.
“Working with the AXIOM Aristos FX is just so comfortable. Out of everyone I have trained, no one wants to work with anything else.
AXIOM Aristos FX is simple and easy to use; training moves along very quickly. The syngo® user interface makes learning quick and easy. Many are already familiar with it from working with our Siemens CT scanner.”
“The big advantage is that the automated movement of the X-ray tube and detector is easier and doesn’t involve back strain.
We select the desired setting from the organ programs that we set up and the system moves into the preprogrammed position. Fine positioning no longer requires moving the table; the X-ray tube and the detector do the moving.”
“The workflow on the AXIOM Aristos FX is optimal.
We did have to make some adjustments since we were accustomed to a different workflow. But we had so much to gain in the process. We can see the image on the monitor in just three to four seconds.”
“The image quality is very good – even with reduced dose. We acquired some images using only 1/6 the dose of the traditional radiography system.”
*In consideration of the patient, exposure position photographs were selected after the fact to approximate the digital images. There may be differences in patient age and sex, as well as the side of the body of the imaged extremity.
"It’s all pretty amazing. A high-tech system that fosters morale and motivation. It’s a real pleasure to take the system to the limits, to use creative positioning to broaden its scope of application, and in so doing, explore the full diagnostic spectrum."
